Dates are often associated with Muslim’s when breaking fast and it is seen more often on sale during the holy month of Ramadan. The reason why it is the tradition for Muslim to break their fast by eating dates is because they are rich in fibers, vitamins and minerals. These natural products contain oil, calcium, sulphur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium which are beneficial for health.
