Last Thursday Jose Chameleone demonstrating at the Tanzanian Embassy
over his passport that had been confiscated by a one Eric Shigongo over
US$3,500 that went missing after George Mugabo approached Eric as
Chameleone's manager.
Chameleone later went to Eric to demand for his dues only to be told
that someone who masqueraded as his manager had been paid. This is when
the passport was confiscated for close to a month.
All efforts of getting the passport back had failed so like a
chameleon, he devised other means. He went to the Tanzanian Embassy
where he held a peaceful demonstration. This got the IGP Lt. Gen Kale
Kayihura involved and the passport was flown to the country within two
hours.
The latest info coming in is that Eric Shigongo of Global Publishers
has apologized to the singer for mishandling his business issues and
promised not to do it again Eric concluded by saying that he is coming
over to Uganda to pursue the suspect in the courts of law.
The news of the apology found Chameleone in a happy mood after he had
just listed to the jazz version of his Valu Valu hit on the Saturday
night party in the Big brother house as Sanyu FM's DJ Pita spined the
discs.
