Fiddy, as he is known by his fans, sent volatile text messages to his 16-year-old son Marquise in November last year, saying he planned to cut the boy and his mother off.
According to the Daily Mail, the texts came to light a day after the rapper was also shown to have sent abusive texts to his son in January this year, calling the kid a “s**t head”, “motherf***er” and “f***ing stupid”. In his January tirade, 50 Cent also demands a paternity test and tell his son to delete his number, saying “f*** you stop texting me”.
The rapper’s angry outburst allegedly stemmed from a poorly co-ordinated custody visitation. 50 Cent claims he went to see his son, but was left standing outside the house as no one answered the door. The rapper insisted that Marquise knew he was waiting outside and that he had spotted him peering at his father through the blinds.
“I don't have a son anymore,” tweeted the rapper after the incident.
This family feud, however, has been a long time in the making. In November, 2012, Fiddy wrote to his son: “If I died today would it matter to you? I’m changing my will. It’s a simple question.”
Marquise’s response highlighted the breakdown in the relationship between father and son.
“And this is coming from someone that didn't wish me a happy birthday.”
When Fiddy responded with his threat to remove Marquise and his mother from his will, the teenager replied: “I don't care about money, that's my last concern, of course we all like nice things but it's not everything.”
In his defence, 50 Cent claims that Marquise’s mother was the one texting back, and not his son.

Meanwhile, the rapper also has legal issues to deal with. He has been charged with one count of misdemeanour domestic violence and four counts of vandalism after he allegedly kicked a woman and destroyed $7000 worth of property at her condominium in Los Angeles last month.
According to Los Angeles City Attorney Frank Mateljan, 50 Cent kicked in a door and destroyed a piece of furniture, a chandelier and a television set.
“The altercation apparently started from an allegation of infidelity on her part,” Mateljan said.
The rapper faces a maximum penalty of five years in jail and $46 000 in fines if he is convicted.
