Now on the 24th of July 2013 a case will be up for hearing at the High Court sitting in Nairobi where a group of Miraa traders are seeking to have Miraa removed from NACADA's list as a drug. While the fight continues in the courtrooms, the Ameru people continue to fight for their heritage and culture.
