Since the early 70's and before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the USSR experienced a unique period architecture. The editor of French magazine Citizen K Frederick Shoben (Frédéric Chaubin) , fascinated by this period in Soviet architecture was a period of seven years, selected and photographed these buildings. Result was to create a luxurious new book published by Taschen. This book presents 90 buildings located in 14 former Soviet republics. This is an inspirational collection of architecture.
