Police Investigating Whether Kris Kross Member May Have Died From Possible Drug Overdose

As Kris Kross fans mourn the untimely passing Wednesday of Chris Kelly, Atlanta police are investigating whether the rapper died of a possible drug overdose.
According to a spokesman for the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office, Kelly was found unresponsive at his Atlanta home and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 5 p.m. An autopsy is set for this morning to determine how the 34-year-old "Mac Daddy" artist died.
Fulton County Police spokeswoman Cpl. Kay Lester told E! News that investigators were looking into reports that drugs were involved.
