The conventional-looking REENA ROY’s film career started off with a non-starter director B. R. Ishara’s film “NayeeDuniyaNaye Log,” though it got shelved somehow. Undeterred, the same director did cast her again in “Zaroorat,” and the racy film was an instant hit. Her ladder to success was “Nagin,” where she played the title role of a female snake with extraordinary mythological powers. She avenges the death of her lover by brutally murdering five men. The film became a huge hit, and Reena received her first Filmfare nomination as Best Actress.

 Top right is beautiful actress (JAYA PRADA) was born in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh. After she took Hindi l-ssons, director K. Vishwanath brought her to Hindi films, and it was the hit film “Kamchor,” where she presented a version of fluent Hindi. The actress earned two Filmfare nominations for Prakash Mehra’s “Sharabi,” and K.Vishwanath’s “Sanjog.” Her milestone film is though “Saagara Sangaman,” with veteran actor Kamal Hassan, for which she won Filmfare award for the Best Actress-Telgu.

She was born and brought up in Junagad. Parween Babi was discovered by the famous director B.R. Ishara at Ahmedabad University, where she was approached to act in his forthcoming movie, “Charitraheen.” In the film, this gorgeous actress was paired alongside the cricketer Salim Durrani. Since then there was no looking back for this gorgeous lady. She will best remembered for films like Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Shaan, Yeh Nazdeekiyan, and Namak Halal.

Zeenat Aman was born to Amanullah Khan and Scindain 1951 in Mumbai (then Bombay). May be it was Zeenat, who started the trend for beauty pageants to choose Bollywood as their preferred destination. She was the second runner up in “Miss India,” and also won “Miss Asia Pacific” title in 1970. She had a substantial impact on the characterization of heroine in Hindi films. With free-spirited roles in films like “Hare Rama Hare Krishna,” and “Yaadon Ki Baraat,” Zeenat championed the new, youthful and rebellious idea of a woman with western values in Bollywood.

RHAKEE was born in Ranaghat, in the Nadia district of West Bengal, on 15th August, 1947. She began her career in Hindi film industry with Rajshri Productions’ “JeevanMritu,” with Dharmendra in 1970. The actress will be remembered for her memorable role in “Sharmilee,” with Shashi Kapoor. Her five consequent superhits with Amitabh Bachchan are, “Kabhi-Kabhi,” “Muqaddar Ka Sikandar,” “KasmeVaade,” “Trishul,” and “Kala Patthar.”
Smita Patil
One of the most sensual Bollywood actresses of all time, Smita Patil was born in 1955 in Dhule, Maharastra. The beautiful actress has been nominated 11 times for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. In 2000, she was honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor, by the Government of India.
