Mnamo tarehe 03 Mei, 2013 Serikali kupitia Waziri wa Nchi Ofisi ya Waziri Mkuu, Mheshimiwa Wiliam Lukuvi (Mb) ilitoa Kauli ya Serikali Bungeni Kuhusu Taarifa ya Awali ya Tume ya Taifa ya Kuchunguza Sababu za kushuka kwa ufaulu wa Mtihani wa Kidato cha Nne Mwaka 2012.

Kauli ya Serikali ilielekeza kuwa matokeo ya Mtihani wa Taifa wa Kidato cha Nne mwaka 2012 yafutwe na yaandaliwe upya kwa kutumia utaratibu uliotumika mwaka 2011 ili Wanafunzi hao wawe katika mazingira yanayofanana na ya wenzao wa miaka iliyopita kwa kuwa mfumo uliotumika mwaka 2012 katika kupanga matokeo na madaraja ni tofauti na ule uliotumika mwaka 2011 na miaka iliyotangulia.

YANGA KULAMBA MILLIONI 70 ZA UBINGWA WA VODACOM

Mdhamini wa Ligi Kuu ya soka Tanzana Bara, Kampuni ya Vodacom imetangaza kutumia kiasi cha Shilingi Mil 200 kwa ajili ya kutoa zawadi ya fedha taslimu katika ligi inayomalizika mei 18 ambapo sasa Machampioni wa msimu huu watajinyakulia Shilingi Milioni 70.
Mbali ya bingwa, Vodacom pia itatoa fedha kwa timu inayomaliza nafasi ya pili, ya tatu na ya nne katika msimamo wa ligi ambazo ni Sh. 35 Milioni, huku Sh. 25 Milioni na Sh. 20 Milioni zote zikiwa na ongezeko ikilinganishwa na zawadi za fedha zilizotolewa katika msimu wa 2012 / 2013.

MALCOLM SHABAZZ, -GRANDSON OF MALCOLM X DIES

Malcolm Shabazz, the troubled grandson of civil rights icon Malcolm X, has been killed in Mexico, the U.S. Embassy there confirms.
The Amsterdam News reports that Shabazz, 28, was thrown off a rooftop after being shot during an attempted robbery on Thursday, May 9.
“I’m confirming, per U.S. Embassy, on behalf of family, the tragic death of Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X. Statement frm family 2 come,” tweeted Shabazz family friend Terrie M. Williams on twitter earlier today.
Shabazz was the son of Qubilah Shabazz, the second daughter of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. He was 12 years old in 1997 when he torched Betty Shabazz’s New York apartment, killing her.
Shabazz pled guilty to arson and was sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile detention center. Shabazz’s sentence was extended due to discipline problems and he was released four years later.
Shabazz later claimed he didn’t set the fire that killed his grandmother.
At the time of his death Shabazz was studying Criminal Justice at John Jay College in New York. It isn’t known why Shabazz was in Mexico. He leaves behind 2 daughters.

Lil Wayne Launches Spectre by Supra Sneakers After PepsiCo Split

Though Lil Wayne has lost his endorsement deal with PepsiCo, he still has reason to celebrate. The Young Money/Cash Money rap mogul launched his Spectre by Supra footwear line at an indoor ramp in Miami over the weekend.
Weezy signed a partnership deal with the skating brand due to his love for skateboarding. At the launch party, the MC was joined by his manager Cortez Bryant, Young Money president Mack Maine, fellow rhymer Bun B, and pro skateboarder Stevie Williams.

Weezy will oversee the design of the shoes. “I’ve been rocking this shoe before I even knew what it was, so for me to start skating now and shoe lines start coming at me, it would’ve been only right to mess with the people I been rocking with,” he told MTV.
Weezy was dropped as representative for PepsiCo over disrespectful lyrics about the death of civil rights icon Emmett Till. The rapper issued an apology, but it was not favorably received by the Till family.
