Soldier Hard's Hip-Hop Lyrics Reveal PTSD's Rough Edges

Sleep-starved from a repeating nightmare and weary from wondering when all that therapy would reignite his fading hope, former Army tank gunner Jeff Barillaro took aim at his stubborn target with an attack as brilliant as it was simple.
He decided to break up with PTSD.
And he would do it in his increasingly famous style — studio-recorded hip-hop, under his stage name, Soldier Hard.
“I thought: If I could write a letter to PTSD, what would I say to PTSD? Then I thought: Oh, wow, this is going to be powerful,” said Barillaro, an Iraq War veteran, out of the service since 2010, who has steadily gained fame among active-duty troops, young veterans and their families for his bare, often-bleak music about the daily demons of living with severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Mahakama moja ya Misri yamepiga marufuku kwa mwezi mmoja tovuti ya kusambaza video ya Youtube kwa kuonesha filamu iliyotusi Uislamu na kuzusha maandamano ya ghasia katika sehemu kadha za nchi za Kiislamu.
Mahakama ya utawala ya Cairo yaliamua kuwa wakuu lazima wachukue hatua kupiga marufuku Youtube nchini na tovuti nyengine yoyote iliyoruhusu filamu hiyo kuoneshwa.
Kesi hiyo ilipelekwa mahakamani na wakili mmoja wa Misri, Hamed Salem, ambaye amewahi kushtaki mashirika mengine ya habari na watu wanaoonekana kuwa wanatusi Uislamu.
Mwezi uliopita mahakama moja ya Misri ilithibitisha hukumu ya kifo kwa Wamisri wasiokuwako mahakamani, kwa kuhusika na filamu hiyo.

Baraza la Mitihani Tanzania (NECTA) limesema matokeo ya kidato cha nne bado hayajakamilika na kuwa habari zilizozagaa wiki hii kuwa yapo tayari si za kweli.
Hata hivyo Baraza hilo limebainisha kuwa licha ya kutokamilika, matokeo hayo yanakaribia kutoka kwa mujibu wa ratiba za baraza hilo ambapo hutakiwa kutoa matokeo hayo mwezi Februari.

Akizungumza na mwandishi jana, Ofisa Habari na Mawasiliano wa NECTA, John Nchimbi alisema uvumi wa kwamba matokeo hayo yako tayari ulitokana na kuzushwa kupitia mtandao wa kijamii (Facebook).

Alifafanua kwamba habari kuwa matokeo hayo yameanza kutoka kisirisiri kabla hayajatangazwa rasmi na kwamba hatua hiyo inalenga kuyachakachua, siyo taarifa sahihi.
Aliwataka wananchi kuwa makini na uvumi huo kwa vile endapo matokeo hayo yatakuwa tayari yatatangazwa na Katibu Mtendaji wa Baraza hilo na pia kuwekwa kwenye tovuti ya Baraza pamoja na wananchi kuweza kuyapata kupitia simu zao za mkononi.

“Uvumi huu umetokana na mtu asiyejulikana kufungua akaunti ya facebook yenye jina la Baraza na kuanza kuweka taarifa hizo zisizo sahihi. Napenda kuwajulisha wananchi kuwa Baraza letu halina mtandao kama huo hivyo taarifa hizo si sahihi,” alisisitiza.

Nchimbi alibainisha kuwa matokeo hayo si siri hivyo yakiwa tayari Katibu Mtendaji atayatangaza kupitia vyombo vya habari na baadaye yataanza kusambazwa kwa kutumia mtandao.
Aliwataka wananchi kuwa makini ili wasitapeliwe na wanaojifanya kuwa wanaweza kupata matokeo ya mwanafunzi kabla hayajatangazwa rasmi kwa vile suala hilo haliwezekani.
