Four people from Mlali were given a video camera for a month to show life from their point of view and to tell the world what they wanted to say.
Children at the Queen Elizabeth Academy, a primary school in Mlali also wrote and designed an animated story to feature in the film.
The result is a raw, surprising and often entertaining glimpse into their lives and thoughts.
