Brilliant.org List 10 of The World’s Smartest Kids.
While we can’t turn back the hands of time we can appreciate and follow the emerging great young minds that are considered to be the smartest kids in the world. The new social media platform Brilliant.org find “underserved” geniuses around the world, and help provide them with an education by introducing to top educators and educational institutions. In collaboration with Business Insider, Brilliant.org has identified what they consider to be the ten smartest kids in the world. The ten names were selected from 70,000 young people from 155 countries who participated in olympiad-style weekly challenges answering more difficult math and science questions.
Take the young kid in the picture above who’s name is Dylan Toh, bored with his school mathematics curriculum, Dylan scoured his local libraries for more challenging material.
The Singaporean Ministry of Education later approved him for acceleration in mathematics, matching him with a secondary school teacher to study material several grade levels above that of a typical 12-year old.

Son of Former Pakistan PM Kidnapped
The son of former Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has reportedly been kidnapped during a campaign rally in his hometown of Multan, sources have told Al Jazeera. Ali Haider Gilani was taken during a gunfire at the rally, which apparently killed his personal secretary and injured others. "People came on a motorbike. They also had a car with them and they opened fire and abducted Yousuf Raza Gilani's son Ali Haider in a black Honda," police officer Khurram Shakur said. Ariel Castro Appears in Court Where He Pleads Not Guilty Despite ‘Confessing’ to Abductions and Rape
The man accused of imprisoning three women for about a decade in the US city of Cleveland has made his first court appearance.
Wearing
a navy blue prison jumpsuit and with his head bowed throughout, Castro
was arraigned on four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape this
morning. He pleaded not guilty
Ariel Castro, 52, is charged with kidnap and rape. He did not enter a plea.
Bail was set at $8m (£5.1m), meaning in effect that he will remain in custody.
The women were abducted at different times and held in Mr Castro’s
house. One of those held, Amanda Berry, 27, escaped on Monday and raised
the alarm.
The other women freed soon afterwards were Gina DeJesus, 23, and Michelle Knight, 32.
Mr Castro, handcuffed and dressed in blue overalls, remained silent and looked down while lawyers spoke to the judge.
The police detained two of Mr Castro’s brothers, Pedro and Onil, but later said they appeared to have no involvement in the crime.
They instead face misdemeanour charges of drinking in public. Onil Castro also faces an additional drug abuse charge.
Ariel Castro has put on suicide watch and will be kept in isolation, his court-appointed lawyer Kathleen DeMetz told reporters.
Police said the women could only remember being outside twice during
their time in captivity, and were then only allowed into the garage.
