Shock as Man Rapes Woman on Moving Bus

Rio de
Police in Brazil are looking for a man who raped a woman on a moving Rio de Janeiro bus.
Witnesses say the armed man ran away after a busing the woman for about 30 minutes, and robbing other passengers.
The crime has shocked the country, becoming a topic of discussion on social media.
The rape of a tourist in late March had already raised concerns about security ahead of the football World Cup next year and the Olympics in 2016.

Days later, seven people died as a packed bus crashed off a bridge following an alleged argument between the driver and a passenger.
After these episodes, Rio de Janeiro's mayor, Eduardo Paes, vowed to tighten security and checks on public transport.

But Friday afternoon's attack comes as a fresh blow, correspondents say.
Witnesses told the authorities the assailant took a group of about 10 passengers to the front of the vehicle, telling the driver to keep on driving.
After taking their belongings, the man is said to have hit a 30-year-old woman with his gun before raping her.
The man, who witnesses said appeared to be under the influence of drugs, then got off the bus and ran across a busy motorway.

Kim Kardashian in Floral Horror Dress

Kim and Kanye The pregnant reality star poured her baby curves into the high-necked printed gown – which even covered her hands thanks to some sewn-in gloves.
But far from looking blooming the mum-to-be was an example of how not to do it.
Even her strappy sandals echoed the fabric of the gown, which exposed a flash of leg thanks to a thigh-high split.

Styled to the fingertips ... dress came with glove-sleeves
The 32-year-old chose the custom-made Givenchy gown despite a “punk” theme at the ball in New York last night.
And reports revealed she had to have it altered after gaining more weight than expected.
A source told a magazine: “She’s gained a lot of weight in her arms and her stylist has told her she should not show them off.
“So her dress now has sleeves when it was sleeveless before.”

Head to toe in flower fabric ... even Kim's sandals had the same pattern as dress

Lauryn Hill Gets 3 Months for Failing to Pay Taxes

Lauryn Hill
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill stood in federal court Monday and compared her experience in the music business to the slavery her ancestors endured before a judge sentenced her to three months in prison for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes over the past decade.

"I am a child of former slaves who had a system imposed on them," Hill said before U.S. Magistrate Madeline Cox Arleo. "I had an economic system imposed on me."

Hill, who started singing with the Fugees as a teenager in the 1990s before releasing her multiplatinum 1998 album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," pleaded guilty last year to failing to pay taxes on more than $1.8 million earned from 2005 to 2007. Monday's sentencing also took into account unpaid state and federal taxes in 2008 and 2009 that brought the total earnings to about $2.3 million.
