Maonyesho ya filamu mia kadha kutoka sehemu mbali-mbali za Afrika na Wafrika walioko ng'ambo, zitaoneshwa katika tamasha kubwa ya utamaduni wa Afrika ambayo inaanza Burkina Faso Jumamosi. Maonyesho hayo ya Panafrican Film and Television Festival ya Ouagadougou (FESPACO) yanafanywa kila baada ya miaka miwili.

Tuzo kubwa kabisa - Stallion of Yennenga - hupewa filamu ambayo inaonesha maisha halisi kabisa ya Afrika.
Filamu 20 za habari hasa kutoka Morocco, Algeria, Angola na Senegal zinagombea tuzo hiyo.
Ingawa Misri haikujiandikisha kwenye mashindano hata hivyo itaonesha filamu ya msanii wa Misri, Khaled Sayed, iitwayo "Stories from Tahrir".

According to reports, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will welcome a baby girl this July.
“They’re over the moon!” a source tells Us Weekly. “Kanye always wanted a girl.”
So now that the world (sorta) knows baby Kimye is going to be a girl, be on the lookout for a little fashionista!
“If anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he’s going to have things specially made,” Kim said on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January. “So I don’t think hand-me-downs are going to work.”
Baby Kimye will surely be well taken care of!

MC Hammer a Victim a Racial Profiling?

DUBLIN, Calif. (AP) — MC Hammer suggests he was a victim of racial profiling when he was stopped and arrested by police in the Northern California city of Dublin.
The ’90s rap star tweeted on Saturday that an officer approached him in his car and asked “Are you on parole or probation?”
He says that as he handed over his ID, the officer reached inside the car and tried to pull him out.
Dublin police Lt. Herb Walters told the Oakland Tribune that Hammer, who was born Stanley Burrell, was arrested Thursday for investigation of obstructing an officer in the performance of their duties and resisting an officer.
He declined to comment to KTVU about Hammer’s version of the arrest.
Hammer tweeted that he wasn’t bitter and considered what happened “a teachable moment.”
