Ofisa Usalama Mbaroni Wizi Kontena

'Nine-year-old' Mexican Girl who Gave Birth is Really Aged 12 and The Baby's Father is Her Stepfather

Dafne
Mexican state officials confirmed that the girl who gave birth to a child two weeks ago is 12 or 13 years old and not 9-years-old like her mother previously claimed.
The officials also confirmed that her 44-year-old stepfather is the father of the child and not her teenage boyfriend.
MailOnline was in Guadalajara last week and was the first to reveal neighbor's suspicions that the girl, identified only as Dafne, was older than her mother initially said.
Multiple sources told MailOnline that it was 'highly likely' that Dafne was not the age her mother claimed she was when she went into hospital with her daughter in labour.
Now government officials have used DNA tests to confirm the identity of the baby's father after she originally told hospital workers that her 17-year-old boyfriend had impregnated her.
State prosecutors reportedly did an anthropological study of the girl, which was not described in detail, which helped them to conclude that she is between 12 and 13 years old.
Multiple sources told MailOnline that it was 'highly likely' that Dafne was not the age her mother claimed she was when she went into hospital with her daughter in labour.

One explanation for the ongoing saga is that her mother - who MailOnline is not naming to protect Dafne's privacy - may have been trying to get her into school for the first time as she had not gone until now.
Another more sinister reason could have been if, as has been claimed by neighbours, the mother is a prostitute who is trying to turn Dafne into a sex worker too, a nine-year-old could command a higher fee from clients than a teenager.
Although Dafne has a birth certificate, the circumstances under which it was obtained are unclear.
It only emerged a year and two months ago when she tried to go to school for the first time and was told she needed it.
Neighbours have described Dafne as 'kind and very sweet' and said she looked much older than nine.
A woman who lives next door, in her early 20s, said that Dafne was tall for her age, appeared well developed, with a light complexion and long blonde hair which goes past her shoulders.
Another twist would be that if Dafne's real age is 15 or higher then her boyfriend sleeping with her would not even be a crime

3 IT Experts to Trace Bad Bunge Phone Text Message

The derogatory text messages sent to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Anne Makinda and her deputy, Mr Job Ndugai have prompted action by the office of the parliamentary clerk currently seeking assistance from the Cyber Crime Department of the Police Force to bring proven culprits to justice.
Tanzania National Assembly Clerk, Dr Thomas Kashililah
Meanwhile, negotiations between the same office and the Tanzania Communication and Regulatory Authority, TCRA are underway, the former seeking the possibility to stop live coverage of Bunge proceedings following recent skirmishes in Parliament, which have tarnished the image of the House.

Speaking from his office in Dar es Salaam, the   Tanzania National Assembly Clerk, Dr Thomas Kashililah, said that freedom of expression should not be abused and that all individuals who insulted the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker through text messages would be pursued and apprehended.

“Registration of mobile phones is likely to help in the pursuit. This will facilitate the process to track down all suspects for appropriate measures against them. No one has the right to attack the dignity of another person,” Kashililah remarked. It was reported that more than 600 such text messages were sent to the Speaker, Ms Anne Makinda and a few hundreds others were relayed to the Deputy Speaker, Mr Job Ndugai.

The two were accused of taking sides with the government and allegedly suppressing the Opposition. Commenting on censorship of news broadcast from the House, Dr Kashililah said the exchange of harsh words witnessed in the ...

Vet Drug ‘Found in UK Meat Exports’

Bute
DANGEROUS vets’ drug “bute” was found in horse meat processed in Britain, it emerged last night.
The Food Standards Agency is expected to reveal today that the painkiller was picked up at some UK slaughterhouses that kill nearly 9,500 horses each year.
There are fears the contaminated meat may have entered the British food chain after first being exported overseas.
Figures reveal one UK slaughterhouse tested positive for bute — horse painkiller phenylbutazone — on several occasions in 2012.
Findus is also due to reveal whether its beef lasagne, containing up to 100 per cent horse, had traces of the drug, which can cause severe blood disorders in humans.
Meanwhile, a report by MPs today claims the FSA needs new powers to prevent another horse meat scandal.

Makongoro Nyerere Faces Murder Charges

Makongoro Nyerere
A businessman, Makongoro Joseph Nyerere, appeared before the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court in Dar es Salaam, charged with murder. He is accused of killing an entrepreneur, Onesphory Kituly, in 2011.
The accused is the son of Joseph Nyerere, a brother to the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere. He was joined in the case that also involves another prominent businessman, Marijani Abubakar, alias Papaa Msofe, who appeared before the same court, for the first time, in connection with the same charge on August 10, last year.
Before Resident Magistrate Agnes Mchome, the accused was not allowed to enter any plea to the charge, as the lower court has no jurisdiction to entertain murder offences. Murder, among capital offences, is only tried by the High Court. Nyerere was remanded in custody until February 20, when the case will be mentioned.

Bail was not granted because whoever is charged with murder, according to the law, is not entitled to be provisionally released. Investigations into the case, according to State Attorney Charles Anindo, have not been completed.

Prosecuting, the state attorney alleged that the accused committed the offence on November 6, 2011, at Magomeni Mapipa in Kinondoni District in the city. It is alleged that Msofe and the deceased had been at loggerheads for a long time over a piece of land. Their dispute has allegedly been pending since 2007.
