Snoop Dogg Switches From Dogg to Lion -King of the Jungle

Whether or not you're a fan of his music, the name "Snoop Dogg" is a fun stage name that rolls off your tongue. But now Snoop has changed his name, and gone from the dog to the cat family.  

"Artist Formerly Known as Dog" the nickname reportedly came from his mom because he reminded her of snoopy with his long Snoopy-shaped face.

Snoop Dogg, who now goes by Snoop Lion, posing for a portrait at Miss Lily's in New York. Snoop Dogg says he was “born again” during a visit to Jamaica in February, changed his name to Snoop Lion and is ready to make music that his “kids and grandparents can listen to.”

The Biggest Whale Shark in The World, Weighs 7,000Kg

A 36-foot-long whale shark was brought to the Karachi Harbor by local fishermen who claimed to have found it dead in the open sea though some experts believed that the shark might have been killed after it got entangled in a net.

The female fish weighs around 7,000 kilos, according to experts.

First Pill To Help Prevent HIV

 US health regulators have for the first time approved a drug to prevent HIV infection. Truvada can be used by those at high risk of infection and anyone who may engage in sexual activity with HIV-infected partners, said the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Gilead Sciences Inc. 

   Studies showed the drug reduced the risk of contracting HIV by up to 73%.

 has marketed Truvada since 2004 as a treatment for people who are already infected with the virus. The once-a-day pill is a combination of two older HIV drugs, Emtriva and Viread. Starting in 2010, studies showed that the drug could prevent people from contracting HIV when used as a precautionary measure. A three-year study found that daily doses cut the risk of infection in healthy gay and bisexual men by 42 percent, when accompanied by condoms and counseling.

            Last year, another study found that Truvada reduced infection by 75 percent in heterosexual couples in which one partner was infected with HIV and the other was not. Because Truvada is on the market to manage HIV, some doctors already prescribe it as a preventive measure. FDA approval will allow Gilead Sciences to formally market the drug for that use, which could dramatically increase prescriptions.

Biggest Snake in The World - 55ft, 300kg, 140 Years Old

The thread claimed the snake was one of two enormous boas found by workers clearing forest for a new road. They apparently woke up the sleeping snakes during attempts to bulldoze a huge mound of earth. This is Biggest snake in the world!!

 

“On the third dig, the operator found there was blood amongst the soil, and with a further dig, a dying snake appeared,” said the post.
“By the time the workers came back, the wounded boa had died, while the other snake had disappeared. The bulldozer operator was so sick that he couldn’t even stand up.”
The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatized that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.
