If you’ve been feverishly toiling at that blog you really hope to option off for a movie deal in the near future, Blogger has introduced three new tools to help you catch the ears and eyes of a larger audience. After all, your blog might be better suited for a Korean period piece film instead of a mid-summer Hollywood blockbuster/romcom starring Sylvester Stallone.

The first and perhaps most useful of the new tools is a Google Translate gadget you can affix to your blog. You likely compose your blog in one language or, if you’re a polyglot, maybe you dabble around in multi-lingual posts to add an air of mystery to your fine words. When I was married in 2000, after the ceremony my wife and I took photos of our hands and wedding rings at Bournemouth pier. Ten years later the marriage failed.

The day before she left to start a new life in Ireland, I took her back to the same pier. We walked to the end and I took both rings out of my pocket.

I said that it was apt to end it all where it began, and we should throw each others rings into the sea as a symbol of the end of our marriage. We did just that - but it was really surprising just how difficult it was to bring ourselves to cast them into the waves.

 A D.C. police officer who worked as a motorcycle escort for White House officials and other dignitaries was moved to administrative duty Wednesday after he allegedly was overheard making threatening comments toward Michelle Obama, according to several police officials.
